Regeneration of the Ore Valley was a major project with unique challenges. The site was poor and lacking transport connections, making for an isolated community with a predominantly low economic base. Our plan combined high quality urbanism with sustainable design to reshape the area and improve quality of life.
Working closely with a task force from influential public bodies, we created two communities on separate sites to deliver the task force objectives for 700 new homes, employment, education, health, leisure and community facilities. We improved the green space and built a new station, better roads, paths and cycleways.
