Conservation
HGP Conservation is the specialist historic buildings department of HGP Architects Ltd and was formed in 2001. It arose from work to a wide range of historic buildings carried out by HGP over many years and in particular the experience gained in working on twelve scheduled and listed historic buildings at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth - The 1820 Vulcan Building is especially significant. The team, currently ten architects and technologists and a conservation town planner, is able to carry out services including conservation repair and building projects, reports, Conservation Area Appraisals, diagnostic investigations, Conservation Plans, expert witness services, and grant-funded projects (team includes members who are AABC-accredited).
